For 25 years, Furui has been deeply rooted in the field of liver disease, actively responding to national initiatives, advancing the "Healthy China" vision, and fulfilling its social responsibilities.

Over the past quarter-century, the company has launched a series of public welfare programs, including the "Wang Baoen Liver Fibrosis Research Fund", "Liver Health for Life: Full-course Liver Disease Management", "National Liver Care, Benevolence Across the Land: Full-course Liver Disease Management", "Liver Care On-the-Go: Full-course Liver Disease Management", and "Make a Doctor Your Friend: Liver Health Management Campaign".

Furui has donated over 150 million yuan to public welfare causes, supporting more than 300,000 liver disease patients. The company has also backed key national science and technology projects under the 12th and 13th Five-Year Plans, demonstrating that the "antiviral and antifibrotic" therapy has reduced the 7-year liver cancer incidence rate by 51.1% and liver disease related mortality by 89.9%. This evidence underscores Furui’s role as a key force in liver cancer prevention and control.

Wang Baoen Liver Fibrosis Research Fund

In 2007, Furui donated 50 million yuan to establish the "Wang Baoen Liver Fibrosis Research Fund" in cooperation with the Chinese Foundation for Hepatitis Prevention and Control to promote the academic development of liver disease in China.

To date, the fund has received 653 project applications and supported 168 research studies. It has contributed to the publication of 261 academic articles both domestically and internationally, significantly enhancing the scientific research capabilities and clinical treatment levels of primary-level physicians.

Tens of millions in donations deeply committed to public welfare, lighting up the future of children’s health

Since the establishment of the Furui Children’s Health Development Fund in 2020, Furui has been specifically supporting two major public welfare initiatives at Children's Hospital Zhejiang University School of Medicine. First, to enhance pediatric care capacity at the grassroots level, projects such as the "Zhejiang Pediatric Alliance", the "Qianjiang Pediatric Surgery Program", and the "Zhijiang Pediatric Internal Medicine Program" have been implemented. These efforts cover more than 60 cities nationwide, training key pediatricians, conducting public science education lectures, and benefiting over 200,000 families. Second, the fund provides assistance for organ transplants, supporting children in need of liver, kidney, and heart transplants, ensuring successful pediatric organ transplant surgeries, and bringing new hope to critically ill children.
